LCHS 2011 Annual Meeting is a lunch date this year.
Join us at the Waterfront Restaurant, 328 South Front Street, La Crosse, on Thursday, May 31.

Join us on April 28th for the Mystery Bus Tour and find out for yourself!
Join LCHS’s George Italiano and fellow local history buffs for a Mystery Bus Tour. These fun-filled and informative bus tours include visits to historic sites and buildings, but you won’t know which ones until you get there.These tours have several stops and not-knowing is half the fun. We take pride in the uniqueness of our historic presentation and ability to schedule in some stops that may surprise you. The staff is not aware of the stops: George is but he is not telling.
Cost: Members 70.00
Non members: 75.00

LCHS has added artifacts to the Wisconsin Heritage Online data base: go to http://content.mpl.org/lacrosse to see images of the Brekke collection: momentos of a Norwegian farm boy from Coulee country who saved uniforms, letters and other souvenirs from his time as a soldier fighting in North Africa and Italy during WWII.
