The LCHS portrait collection is back on display! Over the last two years these paintings and drawings of people who lived in our area and played a role in its history have received cleaning and restoration by professional restorer Malcolm Clark. Now these works of art have been rehung in a La Crosse Portrait Gallery at the Swarthout Museum. Come and see works by 19th century artists James Reeve Stuart and Charles W. Jenkins. Look into the faces of men and women who lived here before us, who were part of the growth of La Crosse County.
