The LCHS Summer Spotlight Series continues with three historic re-enactments featuring important characters from La Crosse County history.
- Tuesday, July 12, 7:00 p.m.:
Gideon Hixon, La Crosse lumber baron and financier, portrayed by Larry Green
- Tuesday, July 19, 7:00 p.m.:
Opera singer Blanche Roosevelt and her mother, Elizabeth Tucker are portrayed by Becky Wilhelm and Lenore Italiano
- Tuesday, August 9, 7:00 p.m:
Charles Haas presents: The Dark Side of the Victorian Period

Admissions free, donations accepted
Location: Swarthout Museum, corner of 9th and Main Streets in La Crosse, adjacent to the Main Public Library. Enter through the 9th Street door.
